Our Philosophy...
First, let’s get real... chances are that for the time being at least, you still might want people to take compliance training courses. That’s fine, and we have you covered on that. But wouldn’t it be great to partner with an organisation that embraces the new but with a rooted, principled base? Somewhere from where you can grow strong?
AIDA Learning is built on several, interlinked beliefs. You might call this our manifesto…
Human-led, AI-assisted
Unrestrained AI is scary and potentially dangerous, but it is here – taking the emu approach is no longer an option. But here is some good news…AI is incredibly stupid!
I first realised how stupid it was when, having created a cartoon character of a medieval knight – obviously. I asked it to change something; it didn’t but added a third arm instead! Now, I knew that was wrong but it made me wonder about what else it might be telling me when I didn’t know…
AI does not know what it is doing or even understand its own responses. It is just making predictions based on everything else it has seen or read – though that is a lot more than you or I could ever do. AI does offer incredible efficiencies but it needs to be understood and its application constrained.
So, be assured we always adhere to the following principles:
-
AI-generated content from trusted source materials only – no third-arm hallucinations!
-
Human-led development, review and refinement at all times
-
We will always be flesh and bones!

Let’s stop the ‘sheep-dipping’
For too long the approach to compliance training has been to ‘sheep-dip’ everyone in the same, monolithic eLearning course year on year on year on year…no wonder everyone hates it!
Yes, people do need to be aware of whatever the topic at hand be – bribery & corruption, bullying & harassment, health & safety etc. – but is that best done by asking them to repeat the same lengthy course, or similar, every year?
Let’s apply that Humen-led, AI-assisted approach to deliver a flexible, adaptive experience:
-
Short, pertinent courses where needed – with AI-coach assistance to personalise the experience
-
Assessment first approach – if people know their stuff, why tell them it all again?
-
Continuous assessment – short, regular quizzes to re-enforce awareness and maintain certification rather than periodic ‘sheep-dipping.’

Big corp value – small business application
This one really gets my goat! If you ever read any industry report or similar – and I’ve read many, especially around AI recently – there is lots of good info and then case studies, examples of good applications. But these paragons are always large corporates – Pepsi, Microsoft, KPMG – with the implication that we should follow their example. But who has the time and money?
Large corporates have the time and budget to explore and trial AI. But the small to medium enterprise does not, juggling a thousand different things every day as they are – I don’t need to tell you that. But there is power in the collective – and that is what AIDA Learning is here to do: we’ve done the background work and now aggregate the clout of all our clients to bring that big corp value to you – feel good to be a part of something?
